A key highlight of the Evening Under the Sphere benefit is AFMCP’s Freedom of the Human Spirit Award that honors leaders in the Queens community for their achievements:

The ceremony also saw the third annual Claire Shulman Award for Public Service go to Jean Silva, an outstanding member of the Queens community who has demonstrated lifelong dedication to serving our borough.
